(On hold) This is one of the most sought after and elusive of all the vintage lucite purses.  Often noted as the "Holy Grail" by collectors.  This rare purse is in MINT condition.  It was produced by Llewellyn back in 1950, and is appropriately named 'The Beehive".  This wonderful purse resembles a beehive not only in the rich warm coloring, but also because of the brass honeybees and floral reverse carving on thick beveled lid.  Crowned with complimenting horseshoe shaped handle.  It has the 4 original ball feet on bottom, brass handle attachments, and hidden brass ball closier under lid.  No chips, cracks, hairlines, warping, or notable scratches .. no offensive odor.  The jewel of any collection.
